I’m Sandra Vanatko — Somatic Embodiment Teacher & Nervous System Guide.
For nearly 20 years I’ve been devoted to the healing arts of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and somatic embodiment.
My work is trauma-informed and combines decades of teaching with deep study in Indo-Tibetan meditation and somatic psychology.
At the center of everything I teach is this truth:
When we learn to fully inhabit the body, we discover that the safety, security, and support we’ve been seeking have always already been right here as the ground of being.
I didn’t always feel regulated or peaceful within myself.
Like so many of us, I once lived from stress, survival, and dysregulation — pushing, managing, performing, trying to “hold it all together.”
Yoga, breath, presence, and somatic awareness changed everything.
I discovered that healing happens through the body — not by trying to think our way out of pain.
That became my life’s work.
I went on to found Indra’s Grace — the longest-standing yoga studio in DFW under single ownership — holding space for thousands of students to heal, awaken, and return to themselves. I am profoundly grateful for every person and every moment.
That legacy continues. And now it’s evolving.
As life, the world, and our community have shifted, a deeper simplicity has called me forward — to teach in a way that is sustainable, embodied, and intimate.
