300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training · Hybrid — Fort Worth, TX & Online
An advanced, RYT-500–eligible training for certified teachers ready to teach — and live — from their own depth.
This isn’t a bigger version of the 200-hour training. It’s a different kind of room. Built for teachers who already hold their 200-hour certification and sense they’ve been performing a class more than truly teaching one, this program takes up to four trainees at a time, by application, so the mentorship can be real — one-on-one work with Sandra, a genuine leadership role supporting the 200-hour cohort, and the space to find a teaching voice that’s actually yours.
January 23 – May 23, 2027 · Eight weekends, alongside the 200-hour cohort
Plus eight two-hour sessions with your own small group, scheduled together
Led by Sandra Vanatko, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500 · with guest support
A different kind of room
Since 2012, Sandra has trained yoga teachers from the ground up. This program exists for the ones who’ve come back — certified 200-hour teachers who are already leading classes and still feel like something is missing between the pose and the person in front of them. Unlike the 200-hour training, this one is capped at four trainees at a time, so mentorship can mean what the word actually means: real feedback, direct supervision, and a working relationship with Sandra that unfolds across the full eight weekends.
You’ll leave RYT-500 eligible — and you’ll also leave having actually led. Trainees in this program take on a genuine leadership and mentoring role inside the 200-hour weekends, under Sandra’s direct guidance, so by the time you graduate, teaching from presence isn’t a concept you studied. It’s something you’ve already done, in the room, with real students watching.
What you receive
Individualized Mentorship
One-on-one sessions with Sandra, including supervised work with real clients as your confidence and intuition grow.
What that means for you: feedback that’s actually about you — not a general note meant for a whole room.
A Leadership & Mentoring Role
You’ll support the 200-hour trainees directly across the eight weekends, guided by Sandra the whole way.
What that means for you: you learn to teach by actually teaching, with someone experienced right beside you.
Sadhana Development
Time devoted to building and refining a steady, personal home practice — the ground everything else stands on.
What that means for you: you teach from what you live daily, not from what you memorized once.
Yoga Therapeutics
Learn to apply yoga as a genuine healing modality, meeting the students who come to you carrying pain, not just looking for a workout.
What that means for you: you’re ready for who actually walks into a real class, not just who shows up in a textbook.
Advanced Pranayama & Meditation
Practices that go beyond the 200-hour foundation, drawn from Sandra’s own long study in contemplative traditions.
What that means for you: tools for your own nervous system first, so what you offer others is honest.
RYT-500 Eligibility
Graduate eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-500 — the credential that marks an advanced, experienced teacher.
What that means for you: the recognition studios look for when they’re ready to trust you with more.
The curriculum
Building and refining a steady home practice as the foundation of authentic teaching — not a performance to prepare, but a practice to return to.
Applying yoga as a healing modality, and adapting practice for seniors, pregnancy, and students with physical limitations.
Real experience supporting and guiding 200-hour trainees across the eight weekends, with Sandra’s direct oversight and feedback.
Deeper breath and meditation practices beyond the 200-hour foundation, drawn from Sandra’s long study in contemplative traditions.
Chakras, prana vayus, and the felt sense of the subtle body, alongside the ongoing work of finding your own teaching voice.
Refining your cueing and presence as a teacher, plus the practical essentials of building a sustainable teaching life.
In Sandra’s words
“Watching a teacher find their own voice is one of my favorite things to witness — the moment their style, their passion, and the way they actually want to teach finally come into focus. That’s what this training makes room for.”

Who this training is for
This sounds like you
You’re already teaching, and you crave more depth and authenticity in how you do it. You’re curious about energetics, somatics, and the subtler layers of practice. You want to mentor, not just accumulate hours — and you’re ready to live yoga as a way of being, not something you perform for fifty minutes and set down.
What you’ll need
An active 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification, and a regular teaching or personal practice life. Because this cohort is capped at four, enrollment is by application — a short form followed by a conversation with Sandra, so we can talk honestly about whether this is the right season for you.
What makes this training different
Small by design
This cohort is capped at four trainees at a time, so mentorship can mean what the word actually means — real, individualized attention, inside a small enough group that you’re learning from each other as much as from your teachers
A leadership role, not just more hours
You’ll help guide the 200-hour cohort directly, under Sandra’s supervision — real teaching experience, not simply more sitting and listening.
Depth over performance
You’ll learn to teach from lived experience and embodied wisdom, not memorized cues — from presence, not performance.
The same honest hybrid
In person in Fort Worth or live on Zoom, every session recorded — the same flexibility as the 200-hour training, extended here too.
In Sandra’s words
“I love mentoring teachers — it might be my favorite part of this work. Keeping this training small means I get to mentor the way I was mentored myself: one relationship, one conversation, one person at a time. That’s not a limitation. That’s the whole reason it works.”
Words from advanced graduates
“Completing YTT with Sandra Vanatko has absolutely been one of the best experiences of my life! The depth of information about all things “yoga” was amazing and each time we met, it left me fulfilled but yet wanting more. I don’t believe that there are better teachers than those that provided our instruction and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. If you are thinking at all about becoming a yoga teacher, Sandra Vanatko is well worth your while!”
Meet your teacher
For nearly 20 years, Sandra has helped thousands of people come home to their bodies through yoga, breathwork, meditation, and somatic practice. A certified yoga therapist and Hakomi-trained somatic practitioner with long study in contemplative meditation traditions, she teaches yoga as a living path — one that awakens presence, self-understanding, and compassion.
This advanced training is intentionally kept small, so Sandra can mentor each trainee directly — every one-on-one session, every piece of feedback, and every step of your leadership role within the 200-hour cohort comes straight from her.
C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist · E-RYT 500 · Hakomi-Trained Somatic Practitioner · Meditation Teacher · Breathwork Facilitator · Teaching since 2007

Dan’s teaching blends Hatha yoga, meditation, pranayama, and mindful movement with an approach grounded in presence and curiosity. As a teacher and mentor, he is passionate about creating supportive spaces where students can deepen their practice, discover their own inner power, and allow meaningful insight and transformation to unfold that cultivates an embodied understanding of yoga they can carry into their teaching and everyday lives
Special guest teacher
Jennifer Rydlinski is a Diplomate Certified CranioSacral Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and yoga instructor with over 13 years of hands-on experience studying, teaching, and working with the human body. Since 2019, she has taught anatomy for Sandra Vanatko’s Yoga Teacher Training cohorts, bringing a practical and experiential approach to the classroom. Her extensive manual therapy practice offers a grounded understanding of human anatomy and the physiology of the mind-tissue connection. Jennifer approaches the body as a dynamic, interconnected system of living intelligence, inviting students to explore this with curiosity, respect, and appreciation for each body’s individuality and capacity for evolution.
Certification
Upon completing the training, you’ll receive an advanced 300-hour certification from The Practice with Sandra Vanatko, and be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-500 — the credential that marks an experienced, advanced teacher. More than the credential, you’ll graduate having actually led — with a teaching voice that’s genuinely your own.
Common questions
Yes. This training is for teachers who’ve already completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification and have an active teaching or personal practice life. It’s the required foundation this program builds on.
You’ll fill out a short application, and Sandra will follow up for a conversation to talk honestly about whether this season is the right fit for you and for the cohort. Because enrollment is capped at four, applying early gives you the best chance at a seat.
Yes. The eight main weekends are a true hybrid — attend live via Zoom from anywhere, with every session recorded. Your small-group cohort sessions are scheduled together and can also happen online.
The same eight weekends as the 200-hour training, plus eight two-hour sessions with your cohort, scheduled around what actually works for the three of you. Many trainees are already teaching regularly while they go through this program.
Early bird tuition is $3,895 (available November 1–30), and regular tuition is $4,295 from December 1 onward as space allows. Payment plans are available for both: a $750 deposit followed by monthly payments (a 3% processing fee applies to the financed balance).
The 200-hour training is where you learn to teach. This one is where you learn to teach from yourself — with a real mentoring role inside the 200-hour cohort, one-on-one work with Sandra, and a group small enough that nothing goes unnoticed.
