Fall Equinox

Healing Breathwork Circle with Sandra Vanatko

Since 2013 — so glad to bring this practice back home to our community.
Why now

The Fall Equinox — light and dark, held equal

This is the time of year the light and the dark stand equal — and it’s a natural marker for reflection rather than striving. Fall Equinox is harvest season: the moment to reap what you planted earlier this year, and to look honestly at what still wants to be completed before the year closes. Not a letting go — a gathering in.

It has roots in conscious connected breathwork — rebirthing and holotropic traditions — and it remains one of the most direct ways I know to meet exactly what’s alive in you right now. This is a chance to meet this turning point of the year with real intention, in the company of others doing the same.

A guided space to breathe, release, and meet this season fully.
The evening

A 2.5-hour arc, held with care

Welcome

Arrival & Grounding

We settle in together, get oriented in the space, and prepare the body and breath for the journey ahead.

90 min

The Breathwork Journey

A conscious connected breathwork practice moving through a musical arc — driving, then evocative, then calming and peaceful. No two journeys are the same; the music and the breath lead you exactly where you need to go.

Closing

Integration Circle

A quiet return to the room and to each other — space to integrate what moved through you before you head back into your evening.

What this practice offers

Benefits of conscious breathwork

Nervous System Release

Deep, connected breathing helps discharge stored tension and stress the body has been holding, often for a long time.

Emotional Clarity

What’s been unclear or stuck often finds its own way to the surface — and through — without needing to be forced or figured out.

Embodied Presence

A direct, felt experience of your own aliveness — the kind that talking about things rarely reaches on its own.

Community Support

You are held in a small group of others doing this work alongside you — never alone in the room.

Seasonal Reflection

A dedicated space to meet this particular turning point of the year with intention, rather than letting it pass by unnoticed.

Deep Rest

The nervous system settling that follows this kind of release often carries into the days and weeks that follow.

In their own words
For me, Sandra’s healing breathwork has been a true blessing. I will be honest and say that it has not always what I hoped for or expected going into a session. But somehow, it always seems to provide what I need in the moment. Especially after the fact, I can look back on the healing breath journey and see where the growth happened. I can see the clearing out of what is no longer serving me. Sometimes I am not even sure what that is at the time. But after a healing breath session, I can feel the shift starting, the movement on to something else. The ideas that some to me during the session, of what I need to do, where I need to be, how I need to get there. These are the true gifts healing breathwork can bring. And truthfully, every once in a while what healing breathwork brings is just the simple opportunity to fully rest, relax in the moment, and get a firm reset. How often do we take time to just completely rest and reset in the moment? Sandra’s healing breathwork is an excellent opportunity for all of these things and more. As she always says, breathe until you are surprised, then breathe some more!

Sandra Vanatko, C-IAYT

Sandra is a certified yoga therapist, somatic practitioner, and meditation teacher who has spent nearly twenty years guiding students through trauma-informed, body-based practices that bridge spirituality and the nervous system. She has held this specific breathwork practice for since 2013, weaving conscious connected breathwork with her broader training in yoga therapy and nervous system work — creating a space that feels both deeply held and genuinely alive.
Her teaching blends depth with warmth — a grounded path to steadiness through the body, the heart, and everyday life. She leads this journey from her home base in Fort Worth, Texas — and holds it as one of the most meaningful spaces she creates for people ready to feel, not just think, their way through this season.
