A 30-Minute Mini-Course
What you receive
Here’s what makes breath unlike anything else in your body: it’s the only function that runs on both your voluntary and involuntary nervous systems at once. You can let it happen automatically — or you can take the wheel. And when you do, you’re not just managing your breathing. You’re reaching directly into the part of your nervous system that normally runs without your permission.
You’re not doing anything wrong. Your breath learned these patterns during stress and survival mode. But your body is ready for something different.
The pattern most people don't know they have
The single most effective shift you can make
Within the session itself — not someday
So calm becomes the new default, not the exception
Real physiological change, not just positive thinking
A simple daily system to help integrate calm into your life · ($19 value — included free)
An IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, Meditation Teacher, and Somatic Practitioner who has helped thousands of students heal their nervous systems and breathe with more ease.
Sandra’s approach is somatic and trauma-informed — rooted in the understanding that the body holds the patterns the mind can’t always think its way out of. Her work draws on Hakomi-informed somatic psychology, breathwork, and nearly two decades of Indo-Tibetan meditation study, woven into something simple enough to use the moment stress shows up.
This is the same breathwork sequence she teaches in private sessions, retreats, and teacher trainings — made accessible here for every level, with no experience required.
Breath work is a powerful practice I use daily and truly can’t imagine living without. It has transformed my life by helping me move out of mental chatter and into a calmer, more present state. Whether I’m driving, walking, feeling triggered, needing courage, or trying to fall asleep, it brings me back to myself and settles my nervous system.
Working with Sandra Vanatko has been truly life-changing. One of the greatest gifts she’s given me is teaching me how to use my breath as a tool to calm my nervous system. Before learning from Sandra, I never realized how powerful intentional breathing could be. Her compassionate guidance helped me understand that my breath is always available to help me find calm, reduce stress, and feel more grounded, even during life’s most challenging moments.
“I have a brain and nervous system disorder, and it was truly a miracle to find Sandra several years ago. In her incredible teachings, she taught me how to breathe properly — I was a chest breather — to fall in love with my breath and truly see how beautiful it is, the breath being the life force of my being, and to breathe to bring me back to the present moment when my mind wants to go in different directions.
With having the disorder, my nervous system is overly active and in a constant state of fight or flight. The teachings and the beauty that Sandra provided me is truly my best therapy and safety to be able to reset to a calm state. I use these tools daily. Sandra truly blessed my life beyond words and I will forever be grateful for all that she provided me.
I also want to state the physical wellness that comes with Pranayama practices is remarkable — the increased oxygen to the heart and brain, the lung health that long deep breathing provides, and the diaphragm, abdomen, and surrounding muscles becoming strong. I am not medical, but these experiences are true in my life, because currently that is what I am rebuilding after a bad setback with my disorder. I will always go back to the breath with Pranayama practices.
I highly recommend being a part of Sandra’s Pranayama classes, workshops, or really any class she provides. Her teachings are way above 5 stars. It will change your life.
Thank you Sandra for all you have done for me.”
